Associate Professor Samia Rab Kirchner: Urban Watersheds & Waterfront: Co-designing a sustainable city
Associate Professor Samia Rab Kirchner of Morgan State University is one of our new visiting professors and will discuss her research that has identified a missing threat that compromises any pursuit of sustainability: designed urban equalities. She uses the example of Baltimore as a city where centuries of design decisions have created segregated neighbourhoods.
Associate Professor Samia Rab Kirchner is an Architect and Urban Designer, currently teaching at the Morgan State University School of Architecture and Planning and holds the Chair of the Internationalization of Education at the Morgan Division of international Affairs.
