The design proposal for this project was to design a building that
responds to the relevant context and topography of the ‘man-made’ landscape of the Dinorwic Slate Quarry whilst maximising the view across the Llyn Peris reservoir and the Snowdon Mountain Range. The key themes of ‘repetition’ and ‘linearity’ are the main design drivers and are shown via the specific space planning and the style of the structures.
