The project is located in a cluster of old houses on High Street. Sherborne square as a renovation project has a long history of use (as commercial and office space). The site will be used as a residential area in future government plans to meet the needs of locals and the high street for renewal.
Because the site itself is used for commercial and office purposes, the transformation direction is – multi-functional community. At the same time meet local employment needs and functional needs. And meet the needs of functional planning, to meet the conditions of sustainable development.
Aims of project
The project- Reborn castle renovated the original site building to make it have new functions and meet the needs of sustainable development. Reconstruction of materials, spaces and structures to meet the needs of an integrated community.
- Reduce carbon emissions by using wooden structures and timber materials.
- Enhance communication between residents and increase daily activities through the use of public spaces
- Sustainable design to ensure the normal use of the community and the protection of the environment and resources
