For this project, the building is a combination space of a stone processing factory and a stone artifact exhibition space. The project aims to make and design different stone products for Liverpool. The building combines stone with the structure components in different ways. The long side of the building forms a corridor. Walking through the corridor is like a journey to witness the evolution of stone. Visitors can see how stone is transformed from rough raw materials into furniture and handicrafts. People can see how stone is processed in the factory and the process of artist carving, they can also experience the stone furniture immersively. The structure and materials of each part of the building are different. People can also feel the changes in the internal space when walking through the long corridor.
