Huyton Council wants to transform an existing building at the start of the high street into a community center with a theatre, library, and other public functions. The main issue was opening up a closed building to the community. The main design idea was to create a clear division between the various functions and to link them together with a vibrant orange walkway. The orange passage also links the interior and exterior and between the community and the building.
