Treading on Egg Shells focuses on how to turn the bad into good and help to combat the environmental crisis. The community will bring their plastic waste to recycling drop off points throughout Huyton or directly to the hub to watch and learn how it can be transformed into products that are sold in the shop.

I have a particular interest in material creation and have tested out making flooring tiles out of egg shells used for the circulation in my building. Inside the hub there will be an egg shell tile workshop, roof top chicken coop and close relationship with local businesses to sustain the creation of these tiles. This process of turning waste into ‘good’ shows a new bench mark for a sustainable feature in Huyton.”
