The project is about designing a multi-function cultural and community and performance hub reusing existing buildings. It locates at the north part of the high street in Huyton, a village to the east of Liverpool under the borough of Knowsley. The goal of the design is to give people a space to connect, play, learn and grow.
According to the report from Knowsley Council, there is a strong need for the people there to get greenery and skills. However, there are few places providing flowers and greenery and opportunities for developing skills. Therefore, the initial idea is to create a space combining greening and learning.

To achieve this, a massive roof garden is added for people to enjoy the green environment and learn planting skills. Two big seating stairs are established to enhance the multifunctional interactive space. Other interesting spaces are designed for people to study making perfume, artwork, tea and food with flowers and greeneries. As for a renovation project, new material like copper is used for the new blocks of the building to emphasize the contrast between fresh and original.
Included in the project is a central activity space, a café and kitchen area, a stage and backstage area, a workshop, a studio, some fragmented libraries and a roof garden.
