This project aims to develop a permanent and revitalising multi-functional cultural and performance space hub, known as ‘Huyton Village Green’, focusing on the Gateway at the Top of the high street, along with the existing buildings of 1-8 Cavendish Walks and the surrounding public realm. I envisioned a project deeply rooted in meeting the diverse needs of the community. This initiative will serve as a dynamic hub where residents can come together to share resources, skills, and experiences. This project is deeply committed to sourcing all materials and food locally, ensuring that the efforts remain rooted in Huyton’s community.
