Vertice creative community centre is a mixed-use community project in huyton, which further explores the use of materials in the long façade by connecting and separating different functional blocks. The project seeks to further bring together the residents of Huyton and provide them with a centre for creative activity.

The section shows an internal view of the building in the direction of the long façade and uses three colours to represent the different materials used in the façade and the functional zoning. On the left, clear glass is used to attract people from the High Street; in the centre, polycarbonate is used to form a translucent atrium; and on the right, the building is completely enclosed for more intimate activities.

The project also aims to address the “fragile future”of the building, with the idea of circular economy at the heart of the building’s multiple activities. The key route into the high street is paved with yellow tiles to draw people into the building.
Finally, the building is intended to cater for all ages, adding fun in the library, restaurant, performance space, etc., and allowing people to explore and have different experiences within the building.
