LSA Alumni Reunion

This March, we celebrated 100 years since RIBA validated its first architecture course at the University of Liverpool in 1924.

We’re celebrating!

This March, we’re celebrating 100 years since RIBA validated its first architecture course at the University of Liverpool in 1924. With 235 programmes running across the globe, the validation programme has grown significantly over the last century. Today, RIBA validation is an evidence-based, peer review system working both nationally and internationally as a critical friend to schools of architecture, reviewing standards and relevance in today’s world, encouraging excellence, and ensuring a positive student experience.

Join Us

In connection with the RIBA Validation Centenary Lecture, and leading up to the opening of our new school extension in 2025 designed by O’Donnell +Tuomey we will be hosting an inaugural LSA alumni event. We would love you to join us as we celebrate. We think it would be the perfect occasion tor alumni to return for a ‘get-together’, meet up with current students and staff, take a tour of the new school work in progress and attend a lecture or two.

Alumni visiting Liverpool for the Centenary Lecture will also be able to attend an alumni drinks reception, connect with staff, students and alumni through talks and demonstrations, and also have the opportunity to tour the development of the new building. Activities will offer our alumni an opportunity to reflect on their time at university, gain an insight into life at the School today, and hear about our plans and ambitions for the future.

If you would like to stay in touch for future events please email lsaevent@liverpool.ac.uk

If you would like to host an event as part of the celebrations, for example, offer a local tour of a Liverpool building or urban plan you have been involved in designing, or present your work via powerpoint VR slides to fellow alumni, please contact Sandy Britton at lsaevent@liverpool.ac.uk
