We were very lucky to be shown around Brenda Colvin’s garden by Chris and Stephanie Carter who have looked after it for years. It was really interesting to hear how the garden has evolved, what Colvin’s attitude to plants and planting was like in her own home, and to taste the delicious figs straight from the tree.
