“Ever since I was a little girl, architecture has been a big part of my life, just like music having played in multiple national orchestras growing up. I spent countless hours in concert halls, and their beauty and design always fascinated me. These places weren’t just where I performed; they were essential to the whole experience, making each performance unique and memorable.

My passion for architecture really took off during my first national orchestra tour with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. Every concert hall we played in was amazing in its own way. I was captivated by the intricate details, the play of light and shadow, and how the design of each hall enhanced the music. These experiences made me realize how powerful architecture can be in shaping our experiences.

As I got older, my love for music blended with a growing interest in design. I began to see architecture as a form of silent music, where spaces and forms created their own kind of rhythm and harmony. The concert halls that once echoed with my performances became my biggest inspiration, pushing me to explore how architecture can influence our emotions and create meaningful connections.

Studying architecture feels like a natural step for me. I want to design spaces that inspire the same awe and wonder I felt as a young musician. My background in music has taught me about precision, creativity, and working with others—skills I’m excited to bring to my studies in architecture.

Through architecture, I hope to create spaces that resonate with the beauty and emotion of a symphony, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who experiences them, just like the concert halls that have inspired me.
