Clayground aims to bring new life to the Fabric District, creating a vibrant, bustling atmosphere at its centre and addressing the area’s need for a place to come together. This will be accompanied by a new public realm to help attract external visitors to the site. The project features a small-scale ceramics production facility, fostering local craftsmanship and creativity. A food hall with rotating vendors that will support small businesses and offer a place to work and meet. Additionally, smaller teaching workshops will be available for public use, encouraging the strong creative atmosphere that the district already has. This central site will serve as a lively hub for functions and meetings, encouraging collaboration among local ceramics businesses and strengthening community ties.
